Role: Senior Java Fullstack Engineer – (Spring Boot)

Location: Addis Ababa/Hybrid

Compensation: 35,000 – 45,000 ETB / Month

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designs, develop and modify modules based on functional and system requirements.
• Develop applications written in Java, JavaScript, or PHP
• Duties include reviewing code, writing documentation, and following test procedures.
• UI design, graphics development, and programming.
• Provide direction, instructions, and guidance to the (off-site) Development Team
• Actively Participate in daily meetings
• Participate in the testing process through unit testing and bug fixes

Candidate Requirements

• Primary Skills: Java, React, NodeJS, Javascript, and one extra Backend programming language of your choice
• Experience developing web applications using J2EE.
• Experience in Spring Boot Framework.
• Good knowledge of MicroServices.
• Experience working with tools like Git, Maven, JFrog, UDeploy.
• Expertise in developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using MicroServices, with demonstrable production-scale experience.
• xperience in Industry Standard protocols related to API Security including OAuth/JWT is a must.
• Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments.
• Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments.
• Strong DevOps skills – Version control, Continuous Integration servers, Configuration management, Deployment automation, Containers & Infrastructure Orchestration.
• Working knowledge with SQL, Oracle, DB2, & Mongo DB databases.
• Working knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes

Education: Self-taught or Bachelor Degree Certificate

Experience: 4+ years of Work experience.
